Description

The P79 In-Hull Transducer provides a versatile and high-performance depth-sensing solution without the need to drill holes through your hull. This innovative design is ideal for planing-hull power boats, trailered boats, rigid inflatable boats (RIBs), and racing sailboats where hull protrusions must be avoided. The unique two-part construction consists of a base bonded to the interior of the hull and filled with liquid; the transducer then attaches to the base with a secure twist lock, allowing sound waves to travel efficiently for maximum echo returns.

Engineered for precision, the P79 features a unique adjustable-angle design that accommodates hull deadrise angles from 2° up to 22°. This ensures the beam is vertically oriented to receive accurate echoes even on steeply angled hulls. Whether you are navigating shallow waters or tracking depths at high speeds, this in-hull solution delivers reliable performance by protecting the ceramic element inside the boat, away from external debris and turbulence.
